We've had the chance to install brake controllers on 2016 and 2020 Subaru Outback Wagons and we found that for both vehicles the color of the wire for the stoplight circuit was brown. The tire chains part # PWRS79 that fit the tire size of 225/65-17 that you have on your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon are totally fine to use with AWD vehicles with ABS systems. Like with any winter driving your ABS system is probably going to be working differently in the snow but the chains will give you a ton more traction. AWD is not an issue at all.

It sounds like you're needing to install the Load Resistor Kit # DI34ZR so the Hopkins Wiring Kit # HM11143885 on your 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon is able to read the trailer lighting system properly. That is going to be a tricky one of the bolts on your Yakima Landing Pad 15 # Y00241 is rusted in place. We generally will use BP blaster on rusted bolts and it has proven to be pretty effective. If that does not do the trick you could try using a left handed drill bit of screw extractor tool like the # PT92CV. The issue you are experiencing is likely that the lift struts and motor aren't able to support the extra weight of the bike rack itself on the hatch. The motorized hatch is designed to retract when it experiences resistance like if it were to hit a garage door for instance when opening. The first thing you will want to check is the in line fuse on trailer wiring harness # 118467. If it is blown or missing that could be the root of the problem.

Instead of trying to contact the small terminals try puncturing the wire with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 that has a needle tip and is designed for this exact thing. There are a couple things you can try if you are having trouble getting the muffler hangers back on your 2017 Subaru Outback with Draw-Tite # 75673. You can try bending the hanger using vice grips or a cheater bar to create more clearance, or replace the rubber isolator with a shorter one, which can be found at an auto parts store.
